Yeah tbh that is why Christmas was easy to follow even without knowing much about it! chaos is a good word for it, it's very wild and free.

less than you'd think. people trade sometimes, but most of the time the gifts are generic so everyone kinda accepts what they get. they're usually cheap enough that it's not worth fighting over.

That makes sense. I like both - those kinds of exchanges and then the ones where you have to think about what someone else might want, just for them, like it's their birthday.

Yeah true! Both are nice for different reasons. I kinda like not having to overthink the gift :)

Well, everyone's gotta eat, so I think cooking supplies. Or maybe a book. Or... coffee.

Well, I'd say cake but it's hard to pick a cake everyone will like or be able to eat.

Guess mostly you can't go wrong with a scarf.

With winter on the way a scarf is as safe as it gets. Nice and cozy too :)
