His name is Casimir and I'm pretty sure he's a blood hound, he has the red hair where you can see hair. He knows sit, stay, give paw and give tentacle.

I think I hurt him pretty badly. I don't want to do that again, but I hadn't wanted to call him to begin with, it just happened. If I can't control what I am then it will happen again, and next time he might not let me go.

So I'm going to try to learn. I don't intend for any of it to bother him. Or you. Or anyone else. But just in case it does.

I didn't know it was him, he was a bird and it didn't feel like someone else, just me. So I pulled on it. Nobody told me what it would

And when a bird turned up that seemed harmless and fun until it wasn't a bird.

He did not kill me. He's killed my grown self at least three times, so I'd be easy if that's what he really wanted. I think he was content with reminding me of that.

Friday night into Saturday, until I'm too tired. I can practice making myself look like anyone anywhere but we're using other monsters for the rest. Thirteen is supposed to be making sure I can't affect anyone far away.

Shoot him back! That's not a phrase, I mean it literally. If he shoots you, return fire. Do SOLDIERs in your time get firearms training? It's point and click.

I'm asking bc I read some of the research notes. I got all the same treatments as Cloud. The Jenova stuff is all in there but it didn't have the same effect on me. so I don't have the same uh
experience

Just worry about him, if all goes well nothing should happen anyway and you'll both be safer. In the meantime maybe I can get those notes and see if there's anything that might suggest how to better tell what's me and what isn't.

I've never seen those notes anywhere but Nibelheim. maybe they can be summoned or something? stuff about you might be just in Midgar... never saw any of those

Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way. Could Cloud be convinced to spend lore, himself? Or you. She's willing to grant powers. She got me a dog. Immunity to psychic manipulation might not even be that expensive.

it's a good thought. Cloud doesn't trust Thirteen either though. might be a tough sell

I could give it a shot but idk if we would notice a difference. how would we test that

Really? I see them all the time on the network. The names I've seen are Ezra, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Rey and Maul. The ones who use the "light" are supposed to be justice warriors of some form, or mechanics, I'm not really sure which. But they might be reasonably safe.

First is seeing if Cloud's willing to try to get something from Thirteen. It's hard to test it when nothing's changed.
